Frespkr Says:
There is some research based evidence talked about by exercise physiologists these days that the calories in protein result in a higher metabolic rate then the calories in carbohydrates. Both have 4 calories per gram.
This is a low calorie source of high quality protein with little taste that can be mixed into just about anything-see other reviews. It does not have as many supplements do, have acesulfame potassium in it which is an as yet to be proven safe sweetener according to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (sucralose is safe according to them). It can be sweetened or flavored to taste or even added to savoury items such as soups to increase the protein. It is a supplement meaning a variety of protein sources in food should be eaten as well as well as a balanced diet as well. And, of course, exercise is necessary to lose weight and for general health. For more information, check out the sound information at ACSM.org.

This stuff is certainly NOT tasteless. It can even cause the gag reflex if a significant amount is added to any one food. Seems to dissolve well. Maybe not the best option for protein supplement.

Amazon Shopper Says:
This product appears to have awesome nutritional value, but I don’t know how people could say it’s completely tasteless! I mixed it with skim milk and it tasted SO GROSS! Enough to almost make me gag. I think it would be fine in some kind of food…They are right about one thing though, it does smell really good. I guess that’s something lol.

Roger Keyser Says:
I have been using this stuff for years. I add one scoop to my oatmeal every morning and it makes a huge difference in my ability to avoid snacking on junk later. I have tried the many competing drink mix products, but always have been disappointed — they have strong favors (believe me, vanilla, chocolate or strawberry oatmeal is awful) and high carb/sugar content that I don’t want. With Amazon’s free shipping (Prime) and discounted recurring automatic ordering plan, I have my favorite protein power always on hand with no hassle at all. I am really happy with this product and the setup.

This product is a perfect substitute for protein. It has a slight taste but when mixed with yogurt and other foods there is no taste. It is wonderful! I love it and I am super picky!
