Question by Rob: How much protein do in need to take in to gain muscle?
I am:
23 years ancient
5’11”
180 pounds
I lift weights for 90+ minutes every other day. How much protein do I need to take in per day to gain significant muscle? I just ongoing taking protein powder, and I take a protein shake before and after each workout. Each shake has 23g protein.

250g per day along with sufficient calories to grow…

International Society of Sports Nutrition recommends 1.4 to 2.0 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight per day.

180g a day and eat about 3000 calories a day.
Also dredge up excessive lifting can cause no results. Also make sure your workouts are intense, and focus on one body part per day.
