I’m weight lifting with a personal trainer and he suggested that I should eat a ton of protein. He told me to buy some protein bars with 20g of protein per bar. My mom thinks that my body can’t handle that much protein at one time and thinks I should get some uncommon bars.

I’m a 16 year ancient male. 150 lbs and a idiotic quick metabolism. I exercise every day and weight lift twice a week.

Everybody is uncommon and there is no general right answer.

Lifters would want at least a gram of protein per pound they weigh.
